DS80PCI810: Any suggestion why the there is a 2V DC at the input?

Part Number: DS80PCI810

Hi all (and Lee).:

We have receive our board with DS80PCI810 on board. It is an interface card to a main board, connecting to a PCIe switch, through a flex cable.  When the board with DS80PCI810 is not connected, we clearly see the PCIe differential signals on the pin on the main board. However, when the board with the DS80PCI810 connected, we see that the signal at the input of the DS80PCI810 is raised by 2V DC. The PCIe switch is riding on top of this 2V DC.   This happens to all the buffer input pins.  We have 220nF AC caps in series between the switch and the DS80PCI810 .  With this DC bias, there are no output from the DS80PCI810 . Any suggestion?

Regards
,Norman
