I am trying to modify the loop sample given in the DSP link samples. I need a single buffer of 1 MB size for issuing and reclaiming via the CHNL.
The issue I'm facing here is that I couldn't increase the buffer size more than 16 kB (16384) to be exact. I've edited the $(DSPLINK)/config/all/CFG_OMAP3530_SHMEM.C for the DataDrv Object (for MaxBufSize) and the shared memory, DDR2 size. Accordingly the DSP side's tci file (omap3530-base.tci) also had been edited for my requirements. One more pointer is that the shared memory region and the region where the buffer get its memory is different. So, I've edited the memory regions of the shared memory and the DRR2 region also. After this, whenever compiled and tried, it says that "CHNL_allocateBuffer() failed".But I couldn't solve the issue yet now. Guide me on this and any help would be appreciated.
