SN74LVC1GU04: Operating at -55C with a -40C rated part?

Part Number: SN74LVC1GU04

I was wondering if anyone can give any information with regards on how the operating temperature limits are determined for this part single hex inverter. Data sheet has a -40C to +125C operating range but I would like to use the part down to -55C. I am assuming that the part is quite capable of going down to -55C without any issues but TI probably tests this parts down to -40C so this is how they determine operating range. Does anyone have any inputs in taking this inverter to -55 or perhaps -60C? It has been a while but I do remember from semiconductor physics that silicone becomes more stable as you go lower in temperature. The only issue that I can think of would be the different thermal expansion coefficients of the silicon and the IC packaging which I assume would be well matched by TI.
