Part Number: CC2652R
Hello team,
Hope you are doing well. Please see below customer question
- We are working with CC2652R under the assumption that we can perform BLE functions in parallel with some fairly intensive number crunching. Is this accurate?
- The CC2652R is connected to 3.3V peripherals that will need to be powered down most of the time. Ideally, we would like to power down the I/O of the CC2652R in order to keep software simpler and power that much lower. The CC2652R has I/O power supply pins, and specifies well what is powered by which and the range of voltages allowed. However, it also says “(3) VDDS_DCDC, VDDS2 and VDDS3 must be at the same potential as VDDS.” So the question becomes, which is correct – can we run VDDS2 and VDDS3 at a different voltage to accommodate specific I/O needs? Can we power down VDDS2 and VDDS3 while VDDS keeps running? The idea of an I/O voltage suggests we could, but the note in the AMR chart suggests we cannot.
