Part Number: TMS320F28027F

Hi every one !

motor compensate the speed too late ( as soon as motor get loaded it  stopped and then try to compensate its speed which takes 2 seconds) & have an over damp at the beginning of Running motor!

Hardware:
I used 40A IGBT & in user.h ,I defined:
#define USER_IQ_FULL_SCALE_CURRENT_A (40.0)
#define USER_ADC_FULL_SCALE_CURRENT_A (70.0)

Software:
I am using the 7.5 kw ACIM motor which the specification of it is:
connection type :Delta
Motor Type :ACIM
Motor PairPols: 3 (970 RPM)
Rr=0.002025
Rs= 0.623223
Ls_d = 0.007879
Ls_q = 0.007879
Flux Rate = 7.446344
Magnetizing Current =14.180
max Current =17 ( Amper)

this motor is installed in heavy duty turning machine, since the load is changing every second ,but the speed should be
fix at all time(the compensation should be fast and with no over damp).

Questions:
Part 1:
1.1.shall we change the magnetizing current to increase or decrease the amount of torque in free load motor?
1.2.How much is allowed to increase the magnetizing current?(is that related to Maximum IGBT current rate)?

Part 2:
In Lab 5b (Tuning the FAST Speed Loop ),Page 104 has an example for PMSM motor , for Calculating Kp(series),Ki
(series),spdKp and spdKi .but I have ACIM.

2. would you please let me know how to calculate the Kp(series),Ki(series),spdKp and spdKi for speed control loop of
ACIMs?

Regards.

Dave.
