Part Number: OPA656
Tool/software: TINA-TI or Spice Models
Hi all
I'm designing a transimpedance amplifier with OPA656 op-amp for measuring current from a microchannel plate in a time-of-flight application. I've already built a prototype with OPA656 on an OPA656 evaluation board.
I want to simulate as well as to measure the performance of the transimpedance amplifier.
I've got a few questions regarding those.
1) What are the performance measurements needed to make in the case of a transimpedance amplifier?
2) The important one is: How do I simulate(Tina-TI) the frequency response (and transient response) of the TIA. That is how do I generate high-frequency current source and give as input to the transimpedance amplifier and measure the frequency response of the TIA?
3) How do I perform measurements for the designed TIA? I mean, provide me some tips for the same.
