CCS/MSP430F5529: Noob can't seem to execute/Run new code

Hi,

It's been months since I worked on this project, and I recently re-installed CCS (8.3.0.000000009), Now I just can't change the behavior of the MSP430F5529 LaunchPad. When I load/run, It seems to always be executing the same old code. The code normally accepts commands on a USB port and sends back a response. However I completely disabled that logic yet it the board is still replying. It's like new code is never being transferred to the board.

I expect the answer is under Debug Configurations, so have spent much time there without success,

Any help is appreciated.
