Part Number: TPS62130
Tool/software: WEBENCH® Design Tools
Dear community,
I've been using TPS62130 to create a 1.35V source for my board, the input is power from a Li-ion battery rating from 3-4.2V, In the datasheet, TI state that operating range of TPS62130 is from 3-17V, but when my input reach near 3.2V, the chip input and output voltage drop for a very short time (around 3ms), then back to normal. This cause my system to fall into off-state and cannot reset to normal working.
I tried to simulate my case in TI- Webench but the result is the same, the minimum accepted voltage is 3.2V, even if i lower input voltage to 3.1 or 3.01.
Is that because the input of TPS62130 is too close to the minimum operating voltage so it could not work properly. Cause these's a case I power the input of TPS62130 with 2.9V or 2.8V and it's still work, but lower voltage will case the UVLO to trigger and stop working.
I really want to know if TPS62130 can work with input closer to the rated minimum input voltage or not?
Thank you!
