Part Number:TPS22810
Hello,
Trying to setup the TPS22810 as a inrush current limiter circuit for an analog audio front end application with the PREAMP OPA1662A-Q1 FRONT END. When the audio system turn on, can hear a loud pop-noise!
How to wire a dual supply rail plus and minus 18V for soft-start with load switch TPS22810?
SYSTEM DESIGN FLOW:
PreAMP-OPA1662 > TPA3251> SPEAKER
The PreAMP-OPA1662 front end audio board sounds great!
However need to get rid of the pop noise, thank you.
WIRING scenario:
+18V -> TPS22810 {PreAMP-OPA1662 > TPA3251> SPEAKER}
-18V -> TPS22810 ????? [not sure how to apply this to the load switch] PLEASE ADVISE ON HOW TO APPLY ON TPS22810 AND OR TPS1H100. A PDIP alternative is welcome.
QUESTION:
1. How to wire a dual supply rail plus and minus 18V for soft-start with load switch TPS22810?
2. Can we use only one TPS22810 load switch for dual supply? If so is there a design reference for dual +-!8V supply?
3. Is there a PDIP load-switch that you all can recommend and cost effective that can solve the pop-noise?
4. Is there a TI reference design for discrete inrush current limiter as alternative?
We are looking all possible solution to solve the pop noise.
Regards
Neil Henry
