Hi,
We are encountering damage in LM5116 circuit in our system. Below is the circuit used.
Following is the queries
- We recently added 0M1 cap (C136) on Enable input pin 5.
- We have seen cases of LM5116 getting damaged
- Also few cases of Synch MOSFETs failing
- Can there be any relationship (between C136 and these failures)?
- In many of the cases, MV3 is found damaged and Q1 [high side FET] found shorted, due to error in gate signalling?
The issue is affected the system reliability and need technical help from TI.
The measured impedances of the pins of failed LM5116 IC is attached in the excel sheet
