Part Number:TAS5720M
Hello,
I am debugging the TAS5720M codec. Because I use the bclk = 64 * fs, the mclk and bclk can be the same frequency. I short the mclk and bclk pins. From the measured wave, it seems that the bclk, mclk and lrclk frequency are correct. But the read register of 0x08 is 0x0c, which means there is a SAIF clock error and Class-D output stage over current error.
The environment is :
input audio fs: 44.1khz
bclk required: 44.1 * 64 = 2.8224mhz, actual measured is 2.822mhz.
mclk required: 44.1 * 64 = 2.8224mhz, actual measrued is 2.822mhz
lrclk required: 44.1khz, actual measured 44.096khz.
The signal is as following,
So, why do the codec report SAIF clock error? Any suggesstion?
Best regards,
