Part Number:TPL5111
Hi,
From a customer I mine I received the following question:
They would like to calculate the resistance of the TPL5111 in such a way that the DRV enable time always at least is 85 seconds. They keep into account the worst-case tolerance of the oscillator (tOSC specs datasheet pg5), the worst-case tolerance of the time interval setting (tIP specs datasheet pg 5), the fact that tDRVn = tIP-50ms (datasheet pg5), and the quantization error (datasheet pg 14), and of course also the tolerance of the resistor(s) themselves.
It is for them not totality clear how the tIP specs and the quantization error relate to each other. Is the quantization already implicitly taken into the ‘time interval setting accuracy’, or do they have to take into account both the 0.6% as well as the quatization error?
Thank you in advance.
