CC1350STK: How to program CC1350STK and modify simple link app

I have a 

CC1350STKUS
Simplelink CC1350 SensorTag Bluetooth and Sub-1GHz Long Range Wireless Development Kit.

I want to change the application and the code on tag to achieve following function

1. Only need Gyroscope function.

2. I don't want continuous data sent to the application

3. I only need notification when there is a change in X,Y,Z position of more than .5 cm or more.

Basically I want to change the tag to passive device with config control from the TI SimpleLink app.

Where do I start? What other hardware do I need? 

Has anyone done anything like this?

Where and how do I begin to start this type of project?

Is anyone offer this service?
