I am looking to participate in the TI Innovation Challenge and my design requires switches which meet the title specifications. I have looked and found a bus switch, but that is not exactly what I need.
The 3.3V Vcc will come from the Beaglebone Black GPIO pins, and the 12V input/output will be sourced from an automobile's power source. If a 12V switch is not available, I should be able to make a 9V switch work, but I'm not sure I am able to go much lower than that.
Maybe a transistor would better suit my application? Are there any available from TI that that meet these specifications? I will likely need to make a two quadrant converter anyway.
Also, requirements of the TI Challenge state that two unique analog ICs will be needed. Would these switches or transistors happen to fall under that category?
