TPS65988: Questions for power path configuration and reverse current protection

Hi~

I have some questions below, please kindly help to check and reply, thanks a lot!

1. We saw the reverse current comparator for external power path, PP3 & PP4, in EVM schematic, do they must to have?
Because current customer's PCB space is limited, they want to find any chance to reduce some components.

2. May we use PP1 and PP2 as sink power path. And PP3 and PP4 are source power path.
Suppose this is no problem.

3. Any concern to set power path to be both input and output for saving external power path cost
