This part will provide bias power until the more efficient switching regulator is up and running. There is hold up on the switching regulator that will keep the 12V rail functional well after Vin has been removed. I dont want to PGOOD to assert when Vin goes away, only after the 12V holdup finally drops out.
Will the part function properly and does PGOOD have over voltage detection? The datasheet only says undervoltage.
