Part Number:LM74610-Q1
Hi,
I'm working with a system and using the attached schematic as our battery front end. When we are not driving the output, our idle current is ~150mA. However, there is this noticeable current/voltage spike on both the power supply and output side of this circuit that repeats every ~1.3-1.5 seconds; see attached images. On the circuit output side its actually dropping the voltage ~1V during this short period of time. I've disconnected the LM circuit and driven 12V directly into the rest of our board and there is no spike. Hence narrowing the issue down to this front end board.
I am thinking maybe there is some issue with the LC filter on the output that is resonating. I'm going to try shorting out the inductor in order to eliminate the LC filter and see if that fixes the issue. Any other suggestions?
