Use 3.0v as C5505 digital IO supply voltage DVdd

Hi,

Does anyone know if it would be OK to use 3.0V as the C5505 digital IO supply voltage (DVdd)? According to the 5505 datasheet, only 3.3V, 2.8V, 2.5V and 1.8V are supported for the digital IO supply voltage. But for our design, it is more convient to have a 3.0V supply. So we are wondering it is OK to use 3.0V as supply voltage and config the IO to either 2.8V or 3.3V mode. The 3.0V falls into the allowable range for both 2.8V (2.52V to 3.08V) and 3.3V (2.97V TO 3.63V) very marginally. Considering the possible fluctuation of the supply voltage, we are not sure if such scheme will work and what is the potential downside.

Thanks.

Shen
