Wish to protect eval boards tested with various switch mode supplies 15 to 20vdc and up to 5.0amps. Each board utilizes a pair of TPA3123 and one TL074CDR set up to produce approx 20w/ch stereo and 40w bridged mono for a small sub-woofer.
This from Fairchild would seem to be a single part solution as far as I'm able to determine from the data sheet

I'd prefer to add a TI product to an order but cannot seem to identify any equivalent. It appears that threads on this forum as well as development notes on TI's site that one of several pmos fets must be selected for specific use and combined with properly selected resistor and diode. I'm not sure where to begin really to identify those values for this application.
How equivalent/suitable is this TI IC? For DC automotive and rated (i think?) well capable of this task.
