C5000 Compiler Linker - Is it possible to link .cinit and .bss tables from different modules into different memory regions?

This question is specific to the C5000 compiler/linker.  Is it possible to link .cinit and .bss from different modules into different memory regions.  I thought I remember doing this in the past with .bss but the below excerpt from Section 9.6.4.7 of the linker userguide (SPRU280I) suggests that these tables should not be seperated.
