Hi Team,
My customer is using TPS62170. In his design, the PG pin function is not required, so we'd like to learn how to deal with this pin.
When checking the datasheet, it demonstrates in the 8.3.3 Power Good (PG) that "If not used, the PG pin should be connected to GND but may be left floating".
My questions:
1. If connected to the GND, any resistor required? Any value suggested?
2. what does the "may be left floating mean" ? Any specific condition required for leaving it floating?
