Part Number:BQ27510-G3
Hi,
I have read the forum and the technical guides in order to prepare a clear step by step guide regarding how to program the BQ27510-G3. The following would be the list of steps and below are some questions that I would need some help on to complete this guide:
1 - Configure basic parameters (eg. Design Capacity, Taper Rate) and select CHEM ID (I have already performed the characterization) using bqStudio and an EVM board.
2- Perform a learning cycle to update QMax and Impedance Tables.
3- Export Golden Image (.bq.fs) file using bqStudio
4- Program gauge using either an external tool or my host processor.
5- Calibrate the gauge using 10 end devices, update Golden Image with the average of the calibration parameters.
Questions:
A - Could you please share a link for the Smart Flash Tool or App? Is it what's in https://e2e.ti.com/support/power-management/f/196/p/447210/1612661 ?
It looks like it is for the bq27500. This is where the Aardvark I2C adapter could be used in order to connect the programmer app with the gauge.
B - Do you know how much time would it take to load the bqfs file to the gauge?
C- In order to do it with my host processor, I have read there is a flash stream parser API in c. Could you please share the link so I can download it?
D- As far as I can tell, I would only need to have access to the i2c pins in my end device for calibration and programming using an EV2300/2400 and bqStudio. Would this be all?
Thanks for your help!
