starting a new design with the CC3220R with external flash and additional CC2642 CPU connected via UART interface
and i have some begginers question:
What is the ROM content of CC3220R?
What is ROM size of CC3220R? It's written in spec that ROM contains "external serial flash bootloader and peripheral drivers". Is Wi-Fi stack also located in ROM?
How ROM is created? Is it binary image that provided by TI or it is created during project building?
can ROM can be updated OTA or by UART?
"OTA Update Application Report" http://www.ti.com/lit/an/swra510/swra510.pdf contains complicate procedure of automatic SW update from standard CSP (Cloud storage provider).
Is it possible to do simple procedure taking into account that we will have our own server and proprietary protocol for file exchange between this server and CC3220 ?
Is part of CC3220R serial flash memory can be used as general purpose storage? If yes, where can I find description of file system and API?
