TI-RTOS support on AM335x processors

Hi,

According to http://www.ti.com/lsds/ti/tools-software/rtos.page#arm AM335x processors support SYS/BIOS but do not support TI-RTOS.

However, I see that Stellaris MCUs that are also ARM based support both. Why is it so? Shouldn't TI-RTOS be hardware independent while SYS/BIOS handles all the compatibility issues?

Can we expect TI-RTOS support to be added in the future?
