I think I have killed my LM3S811 Eval board. I do not believe that my issue is the GPIO/JTAG issue experienced by many folks and I have tried the LM Flash Programmer reset just in case and to no avail.
My theory is that in trying to port a bootloader from another project, that bootloader, with incorrect code in it, ran and somehow messed up the flash on my target platforms. In trying to fix this problem late at night, I came across this page:

I followed the instructions at the above link, except that the FT_Prog utility doesn't recognize the xml file linked there as a valid EEPROM file. So now, it appears that the ICDI on my eval board is gone and it completely fails to connect with CCS. I then noticed the comment from LelaGarofolo at the bottom of the page saying that there is a high likelihood of rendering your emulator useless if you follow the instructions. It appears that is just what I have done.
The problem that led me to this apparent self-harm in the first place is that after loading my bootloader into the target once, subsequent attempts, even after PC restarts, CCS restarts, driver re-installs etc, always gave this result in CCS:

CORTEX_M3_0: Trouble Writing Memory Block at 0x0 on Page 0 of Length 0x3e0: Debug Port error occurred.
This original problem seems to follow target boards, i.e. if I grab a new target board I could (that is before apparently wiping out my emulator) connect to it once, but only once and thereafter got the above error sequence no matter how many PC restarts etc I tried with that board.
So, I really have two problems:
1. Can somebody help me recover my emlulator by reflashing it?
2. Is it possible to recover my target boards when CCS says "CORTEX_M3_0: Warning: Target was left running after a reset during a Flash operation."?
