TMP117: Series resistor to Vcc for filtering affect accuracy?

Hi,

As shown in the TMP117 Figure 38, there is an option to place a series resistor from pin V+ up to Vcc to reduce noise on the bus caused by the TMP117. Does this resistor in any way affect the accuracy of the part's measurement?
