1. After a gap, Im here looking to relaunch myself into the micro controller world. I haven't used TI development tools for microcontroller programming, though I have worked on some other micro controller (8 bit) families few years back. Need to start afresh now. I need suggestion on starting up, may be a development kit. To begin with, planning to try out sensor interfacing for say data logging and so on. Strict no no to assembly programming, C is my thing.
2. I read that CCS is free to download and free. Are compilers included in the CCS download?
3. In the future, if I want to write code for a 32 bit microcontroller, is there anything additional I need to have in the development tools.
