Part Number:TMS320C5535
Popular TI products like the MSP430 MCUs have code protection features such as JTAG lock/JTAG fuse. Unfortunately, the TMS320C5535 lacks these features and implementing code protection is something I'd like to do with this processor.
Another option is bootloading the software from an encrypted external memory. However, it seems that encrypted bootloading is also not supported for the C5535, and this also adds an extra layer of complexity to the design.
My last resort is migrating to the TMS320C5515, since it supports encrypted bootloading, but it would best if we could stick with the C5535 for my application. Are there any more options for implementing code protection features with the C5535? Any guidance and feedback would be greatly appreciated.
