When I use the INA210 to amplify the primary current waveform of the flyback circuit in the chopping mode, it was found that the output of the INA21x series (tested INA210 and INA214) could not track the current waveform regardless of the sampling resistor. It is suspected that the frequency response of the INA21x series is insufficient or that the chip is protected due to excessive input voltage (dv/dt after the switch is turned off). The specific test waveform is as follows:
Green is the current waveform, using a sampling resistor of 15 milliohms, and the blue waveform is the voltage waveform across the sampling resistor. The INA21x chip amplifies this blue signal. The figure below shows the waveform output
It can be seen that the current rising phase is normal, but after the green current drops, the output of the INA21x does not follow the drop, but decreases like the capacitor discharge.
