CC2640R2F: If I've already used Display_print with Display_Type_UART,can I still use UART_read() and UART_write()?

I'm testing the aoa_receiver example ,there is only one uart,but it has been used for Display.However,I need to use the uart to write some binary data ,I am wondering if I can use them together? Thanks in advance.
