Part Number:BQ35100
Hello,
I would like to use this chip (BQ35100) for a battery pack enclosure system we're developing for Lithium Thionyl Choride batteries.
In the same enclosure the pack could be 3.6v, 7.2v, 10.8v or 14.4v. My question is, would the fuel gauge be suitable for an application such as this where it may be monitoring a 3.6v pack and then the next time the enclosure if filled it could be 10.8v and so on. Does the chip need to be recalibrated each time the pack is changed? Are there any similar applications of the BQ35100 existing to the one I've just described?
Thanks,
Karl
