The part worked OK in standalone mode when first assembled on the prototype. In host mode it regulates the battery at 3.74V, drawing current from the 10V power supply to meet the loading. Setting Reg04 Charge Voltage Control, and reading to verify, has no effect. Powering up the circuit without going into host mode, it lets the battery discharge. The CE pin is held low. Do I have a bad part?
