TUSB1044: Type C Plug to Type C Plug GEN2 Cable

Hi Sir,

We want to do "Type C Plug to Type C Plug GEN2 Cable" and the length is 2 meters.

The TUSB1044 is bi-direction redriver and could support USB Type-C with USB 3.1 Gen 2 and DisplayPort 1.4 as Alternate Mode. And select TUSB422+MSP430F5172 as USB PD Controller.

now have some question:

1. should i need place two TUSB1044 to implement bi-direction function?

2. if need two TUSB1044, does it will conflict due to their CC1 are connect?

3. the cable has E-mark IC (VL152), and also program by CC pin. does is will conflict with TUSB422 when communication with host/ device?

4. does MSP430F5172 is suitable for this application and could provide reference code?
