Recompile .lib libraries in CCSv5

Hi all,

Is it possible to recompile a .lib file in CCSv5? For example the dsk6713bsl.lib. I need to change some PLL settings there and some other settings. Or is there any way that I can just include the .c files needed to build the library instead of linking the dsk6713bsl.lib itself?

I've tried to google it to no avail. Is there any materials or resources regarding this?
