I have configured a TUSB320LAI as a GPIO device by floating the ADDR pin and tying the PORT & EN pins to GND.
While being tested for USB-IF compliance we fail the test with the following errors:
From the Teledyne test set:
TD 4.3.3 Sink Connect Try.SRC DRP Test | Fail | The PUT does not transition to Attached.SNK. |
TD 4.3.4 Sink Connect Try.SNK DRP Test | Fail | The PUT does not continue to provide Rd on the CC pin for the duration of this test. |
PUT supports USB 2.0 - Step20-26 | Fail | The PUT does not transition to Attached.SNK. |
PUT supports USB 2.0 - Step27-32 | Fail | The PUT does not transition to Attached.SNK. |

Questions:
Will this device pass USB-IF in this configuration?
Is it appropriate to be running Try.SNK DRP on a UFP only device?
