we recently did an EMC radiation pre-compliance test and discovered that the CC3220MODA module used in our design showed a serious peak at 4.8 GHz when in AP-mode. Usually one would suspect this is a harmonic of the 2.4 GHz carrier, but we could not see even the slightes hill around that frequency.
Once in STA mode it behaved like expected and passed the test.
We've used service sp_3.6.0.3_2.0.0.0_2.2.0.6 (from the 1.6 simplelink SDK) and the radio was set to EU region.
