I'm trying to do force CTLE boost value for an experiment. For a 10.3125Gbps signal on a 20 inch FR4 trace, if it take experienced loss as 0.5dB/inch, the total loss is about 10dB (0.5dB x 20 inch). The closest value in DS125DF1610 Programming Guide is 11.17db and 5GHz, so I can set the boost value as 0-3-0-1? I will start from this value and tune it to try to find a best value.
Could you pls show an example flow to program the force CTLE boost value?
