Part Number:CC3220
It would be a very nice feature to have the ability to put the cc3220 into some sort of low power mode while in AP mode. I know it will need to stop broadcasting its SSID, but I think this could be a reasonable compromise. The user could then have a simple software routine that puts it into normal AP mode for 30 seconds and so it broadcast its SSID for 30 seconds and then user software sleeps for 30 seconds in the new lower power mode. This would still allow the customer to connect, but could cut the power consumption by a considerable amount. Calling sl_stop() is not a very nice way to do this.
