CC1125 SPI Interface Doubt

hi all,

 I'm trying to interface CC1125 with Arm microcontroller(AT91SAM7SE512. My arm is running at 20MHz MCLK Frequency. Initially i do a hardware reset of CC1125 before starting any communication with CC1125. Then i wait for 1000ms and i apply a SRES Strobe signal to check for the status byte. But at this time in return i get 4 bytes. (0x0F, 0x0F, 0x0F and 0x0F). Is the above strobe will provide a response like that or is there something wrong that i'm doing?
