Hello,
I've build a proto type board (breadboard) using the TPS54020 to load a supercap and it works fine.
Because of the high current, cycle-by-cycle limiting is occurring and
after a while, temperature protection will also happen.
Using a "real" PCB, the TS5420 issues pulses for 200us ( <20% duty-cycle)
and then stops for about 17 ms, again pulses for 200us, stops 17ms, etc.
It seems some protection mechanism is taking over, but why does it not happen
on the prototype board? Which mechanism is interrupting and how to avoid it?
