question of TPS61230A

We use TPS61230A under the following conditions.

Vin=3.0V

Vout=3.3V

Iout=1.6A

If input voltage is 3.8V, How is the IC?

Is the IC broken?

We want to know the operation that Vin ＞ Vout.
