Part Number:LMR23630-Q1
Hi,
I'm looking into bread boarding the LMR23630, I understand it's higher frequency and not the greatest application for a breadboard. I'm using the reference design, and have made my own makeshift groundplane/headsink for the ground pad. My schematic is based off the reference design for 5V/3A which is in the datasheet. Here are a few dumb questions:
1. The orientation of the chip.
In the datasheet there's the typical circle signifying pin one, but from pictures of the chips there's almost no markings besides the text and the gold bar on one side, would it be safe to say that the orientation can be decided from the text on the chip?
2. Testing stages
Would I be able to hookup VIN, EN_SYNC, and VCC plus ground pins (PGND, AGND, PAD) without the rest of the circuitry to test the SW signal with an oscilloscope?
3. What are some other considerations I should take when testing this on a bread board?
