Linux/AM5726: Errors in kernel boot with custom board

I have managed to get a custom board to get through MLO and u-boot and into the Linux kernel boot, however I am encountering a number of errors in the kernel boot.

The ones that stand out to me are:

[ 0.000000] Hit pending asynchronous external abort (FSR=0x00000211) during first unmask, this is most likely caused by a firmware/bootloader bug.

The boot does not proceed past:

The device tree I am using is based on the beagle x15, primarily with the console on uart8, TPS on i2c5, 1 bank of 1GiB SDRAM.  I have also tried applying the same changes to am572x-idk.dts with similar results.

Any assistance on what to look for / what to change to proceed further in the boot process is greatly appreciated as I am still relatively inexperienced with device trees and the kernel boot/MLO/u-boot.
