Part Number:OPT8241-CDK-EVM
Hello TI Team,
I am observing an issue regarding sudden shifts in depth measurement after switching to single modulation frequency.
The problem is illustrated on the figure below. Pixels in the center were taken for averaging but approximately the same shift at the same time was observed all over the image.
The shifts are much bigger than the noise, some of them up to 5 cm (for flat target 0.7 m away).
We have assumed, that it is caused by the temperature compensation. However after changing the settings of the parameter 'disable_temp_corr' from 0 to 1 nothing had changed.
Also the same phenomenon was NOT observed for dual modulation frequency settings (although it could possibly be there since the noise is much higher for dual higher mod. frequencies)
The change of modulation frequency is done in the following way:
- Inherit from profile MetrilusLongRange HW
- Then:
- dealias_en = 0
- quad_cnt_max = 4
- mod_freq1 = 25
- sub_frame_cnt_max = 1
- frame_rate = 15
- intg_time = 31
Would you have any suggestion for what is going on?
Thank you very much
Kind regards,
Martin
