Using appropriate biasing with diodes and resistors, could the ULQ2003A be used as constant current sink if there would be one or two diodes (whatever number is needed for appropriate biasing) from each input to ground and an appropriate value resistor from the output of say the CD4511B 7-segment display driver two drive a common anode display directly?
