Part Number:TMS320VC5507
Hi,
I am trying to design a pcb based on TMS320VC5507 and I want to use its USB full speed on-chip peripheral. As TMS320VC5507 is so similar to TMS320VC5509a it is useful for me to have a look at Spectrum Digital DSK5509A schematics.
My question is:
Is it necessary that those tracks in the image above (USB D+ and D-) have the same length on the PCB (be length tuned) in order to transmit and receive data correctly or not?
For example when we want to connect DSPs or FPGAs to SDRAMs, we try to have all of data tracks length tuned with a less than 1% tolerance so that all 16 or 32 bits of data could be sent and received at the same time with no problem.
Now I want to know that is there similar consideration related to USB DP and DN pins or not.
Thanks,
Hosssein
