LM43602-Q1: EMI issue with boost cap on converter

I have a LM43602-Q1 converter that is converting 12V to 5V and running at 500kHz. We are seeing a large amount of EMI that appears to be coming specifically from the boost cap. Waveforms from each side of the cap shown below. If we relocate the cap, the EMI follows the cap. We also tried larger values of capacitance.

Dear Staff,

I an from BIBA - Germany and we have bought two development kits of RM4 MC. one of them is working fin, but the other one has the JTAG communication problem between the CCS9 and the kit.  the execution of the tool (xds100serial.exe) give the below results:

I am facing the exact same problem as that of Lio Messi. Negating the angle as does not solve the problem. 

My AC grid voltage is 800 V peak and when I apply PARK Transformation, park1.Ds and park1.Qs come out to be sinusoidal signals instead of Constant DC Signals. Please see output of Park Transformation (park1.Ds) and output of ramp generator (rg1.Out) in the images below. (Please visit the site to view this file)  I am also attaching the code I am using to generate space vector PWM.

Please let me know how to fix PARK Transformation.

We received a query from our customer and would like to request for your support. Here is the inquiry:

"LMH6715 is given as an "Improved Replacement for CLC412". In the CLC412 datasheet we could find quantitative data for the "typical DC matching specifications" (DVio = ±0.60mV, Dlbn = ±0.25μA, Dlbi = ±1.5μA) and a graph of "Typical DC Errors Mismatch vs. Temp". Can you please provide these details for LMH6715? Ideally could you share statistical distributions of these parameters within a device and between devices of the same lot?"

Hello

I have implemented I2S audio data capture on CC2642R, using  I2SCC26XX.h library.

I noticed, that maximum block size is 255 audio samples. Despite of datatype of I2SCC26XX_Params i2sParams.blockSize is uint32_t,  somewhere it is reduced to 1 byte size. When i trying to capture 320 saples - only 64 samples are captured. So currently i need to launch 2 buffer requests for 160 samples each.

Hello Team,

I am working with a customer whom i am trying to provide some information regarding the following. Can you provide some guidance on where to start? He is trying to implement a 25 pin serial interface RS422 or RS232. 

2)      Determine if the built in TIVA-C serial controllers can support the desired protocols or do we need an external synchronous serial controller for the desired protocols?  Our baud rate is 38.4Kbps and below. (25 pin serial port would support being configured via software to either RS422 or RS232)

3)      If there is code available I know who would like to see it.

  We are trying to obtain more information on the TI compiler that comes with the TI c2000 coder support package.   Is there any issue list or qualification documentation for the compiler we can take a look at?  We are trying to substitute object trace of the compiler with any of the following:

- historical usage of the compiler.

- Assessment of the development process of the compiler.

- Test of the functionality of the compiler.

Is there any data available that can be shared?

MSP430FR2355: Purpose of ISOTXD and ISORXD pins

The datasheet says the MSP430FR2355/2353/2155/2153 family have an "ISO" function, with the pins ISOTXD and ISORXD, but it doesn't give much more than that.  There doesn't seem to be a description in the User's Guide or Datasheet of what these actually do.

The only thing it says (page 22 of DS) is ISOTXD is (UCA1TXD & TB3.2B), and ISORXD goes to UCA1RXD and TB3.CCI2B.

My questions is, what are these pins intended for?  How does this linking to TB3 help?  Some kind of isolated serial or ISO serial standard?

Any idea what these are used for, and if there's an example somewhere?  Thanks!

 Also, what is the maximum differential voltage that is allowed on the PHY before getting into performance and/or reliability concerns?

The problem is that the use of float data is prohibited, since the processor does not implement this data type.

Thats why I need to convert it to Q15 format. But I dont know how can I do it. Please help.

TIC12400-Q1: How is the device going to react in case of external regulation capacitors short circuit?

How is the TIC12400-Q1 device going to react in case of a capacitor short circuit?

I would say that in case of a capacitor short circuit, the internal regulators and there voltages are compromised and so the MSDI will no longer be able to work properly.

 

Can you please confirm and elaborate more on this case?

TIC12400-Q1: Might the chip been damaged by me turning the 3V3 logic power off and the microprocessor still trying to write to it??

I’d just like to try to clarify something with you…. As you know we have a TIC12400Q1 device in our design. Previous builds of the board have worked fine and the processor successfully gets data from the TIC device via the SPI. However, on the latest spin of the PCB I am having a few problems with the SPI data output from the TIC. This new version of the PCB is almost exactly the same as the previous version of the board except that I use a TPS27081 device to cut the 3.3V power to certain chips on the PCB (such as the RS485 interfaces, EEPROM devices and the TIC12400).

In the TIC12400 data sheet it says :

 

 

Will this cause a problem if I have 24Vdc supplied to VSS (pins 37 & 38) but no 3.3V on VDD and data is still being sent by the processor (via the SPI) – the reason I ask is that with the 3.3V enabled (logic supply on) I am seeing a very low output  drive from my TIC12400 device (only about 250mV) from the Serial output interface back to the processor (SO – pin 18). Might the chip been damaged by me turning the 3V3 logic power off and the microprocessor still trying to write to it?? I am seeing this on both of my prototype boards – so I am just looking for clues before I go in with the soldering iron ☹
